ermilion Minor Hockey 2026/2027 Registration

At the AGM, VMHA received feedback that earlier registration would better support certain age groups, so registration will be taking place earlier this year.

Registration Dates

Registration for the upcoming season opens on May 22 and will remain available online until June 1 at 11:59 PM.

After this date, players who are members of our association and have previously registered for hockey will be considered late registrants, and a $100 late fee will apply.

All registrations must be completed online between May 22 and June 1.

Respect in Sport / Shift Forward

Hockey Alberta has replaced Respect in Sport Parent with Shift Forward Parent.  Any parent who has a valid Respect in Sport certificate will be grandfathered until that certificate expires.  If you are registering a new player, or, your Respect in Sport Certificate has expired, you will need to complete the Shift Forward course.  It can be accessed at:

For new players, when the Shift Forward course is completed, a Hockey Canada Registration (HCR) number will be created for that player, and their registration can then be completed.

Please note that Cash Calendar fees are being collected along with registration fees this year, so one Cash Calendar item must be added to one player’s registration.

Payment Information

E-Transfer

E-transfers can be sent to:

Please include your child(ren)’s first and last names in the e-transfer comments.

Multiple registrations may be combined into a single e-transfer, provided all player names are included.

Credit Card Payments

SportsPay credit card payments are now available. Please note that additional service fees apply to credit card transactions.

Arrangements for cheque collection will be communicated at a later date.

Bond cheques may be left undated and kept on file.

• 1 Payment: September 1, 2026
• 2 Payments: September 1 and November 1, 2026
• 4 Payments: September 1, October 1, November 1, and December 1, 2026

Credit Card

Credit card payments may be made:

• In full at registration
• In 4 installments

Installment dates:

• Date of registration
• September 1, 2026
• October 1, 2026
• November 1, 2026

During the registration process, the system will ask you to “Select installments.” This option applies only to credit card payments.
